Chasmosaurus

So this is the first post on my new blog entirely devoted to my Paleo Illustration work.  This is Chasmosaurus a relative of the well known Triceratops.  Its name means open lizard in reference to the large openings in its frill. I have a colored version of this guy in the works but I'm not quite happy with the coloration yet so it might be awhile before that shows up here.  Anyway this guy was a lot of fun to paint I enjoy rendering reptilian skin so when ever I get a chance to paint scales I kinda go a little crazy.  Thanks for taking a look hope to have more soon.
